Qazi Hamiduddin Nagori (Mohammed)

His shrine is in Mehruli Delhi.

Born in 1071 in Bukhara and died in 1246 in Delhi, Qazi Hamidullah Nagot is one of the famous 22 saints of Delhi. He is a descendant of First Khalifa through Sh. Shahabuddin Suharwardy (Baghdad). His ancestors from Yemen came to Burhanpur and later moved to Hyderabad Deccan. He was the king of Bukhara at 52 years of age. Once, he went to the jungle for hunting and struck a deer who said, what answer will you give to ALLAH by killing me. So he came back and left his throne forever. He went to Baghdad and then to Makkah and Medina and finally came to india and taught quraan to KHWAJA QUTUBUDDIN BAKHTIYAR KAKI. King SHAMSUDDIN ALTAMASH. WISAL made him Qazi of Nagur.
