The Burj is named after a muslim saint Hazrat Amber Mian, whoes sanctum sanctorum is situated near the Burj. The Burj which is a 2 storyed building probably. The Amberpet Serai was a 400-year-old structure in Amberpet, India that was demolished by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to make way for a four-lane flyover. The structure's architecture, construction material, and corbels indicated that it was from the Qutb Shahi era. Some say that the structure was still standing strong after workers found it difficult to break down, and that the iconic Qutb Shahi arched vaults appeared after being freed from encroachments. Amberpet is a suburb of Hyderabad that was established as a farming community in the 18th century.
