Chishtiya Masjid Rafooghar Buxipur This mosque is located in near Sachchidanand Band Nakhas road Gorakhpur This mosque is about 200 years old. When the construction work of the second floor of this mosque was going on, the local people told that when its roof was being installed, old bricks of 1906 were found in the excavation, which shows that this mosque is quite old. This mosque has 2 floors. In it, 18 people can offer Namaaz in one floor below and there are 5 floors on the floor below and about 6 floors above where people offer Namaaz. About 200 people can offer Namaaz together on Jumma, Alvida, Eid. This mosque was built in a very beautiful style and by the best artisans, in which small domes were given which make it more beautiful. This mosque is decorated in a very beautiful way on Shab-e-Barat and Eid Miladunnabi. There are also two tombs next to the mosque about which people say that these are very old tombs.
