Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia, also known as Hazrat Nizamuddin and Mahbub-e-Ilahi, was a Sufi saint of the Chishti Order. He is the most famous Sufi Saint in India. At the age of twenty, Hazrat Nizamuddin went to Ajodhan (Pakpattan Sharif in Pakistan) and became a student of Fariduddin Ganjshakar (Baba Farid). He advocated the unity of humanity and shunning distinctions based on social, economic, and religious status. He had many disciples, and it is said that whoever came to him saying that he wanted to become a disciple was granted that favor.
