The 18th-century structure, originally part of a larger complex, served as the gateway to a walled garden that enclosed a palace. Over time, the garden has significantly diminished in size, leaving only the gateway as a remnant of its former grandeur. Architecturally, the structure embodies the Indo-Persian style, characterized by a blend of Indian and Persian elements. The gateway is a single-storey structure built on a rectangular plan. Its prominent arched entrance is flanked on either side by multi-foliated arches and niches, adding to its aesthetic appeal. The flat roof is plain, with two small turrets positioned symmetrically on either side of the entrance, giving it a balanced appearance. The structure is constructed using traditional materials such as bricks, stones, and lime mortar, reflecting the techniques and materials commonly used in the 18th century. These materials not only provided durability but also contributed to the architectural charm of the edifice. Despite its current state, the gateway remains a testament to the rich cultural and architectural heritage of its era.
