Constructed in the early 19th century, this gateway served as the entrance to a historic building. It exhibits characteristic features of Late Mughal architecture, including arched openings. Architectural Style Indo-Persian Description of Building/Structure/Site The building is double-storeyed and rests on a small plinth. Its facade features an arcaded entrance with multi-cusped arches. The spandrels of the arch are adorned with floral medallions. A projecting chajja supported by multiple brackets is a notable feature. The upper floor includes a projected balcony, while the facade is beautified with pilasters that have water vase designs at their bases. Structure Material and Other Material Facade Material: Buff sandstone. Walls: Brick construction plastered with lime mortar. Doors: Wooden, reinforced with iron bolts.
