Hamam in Qutb Shahi tombs

Hamam in Qutb Shahi tombs

Originally part of a summer palace of the Qutb Shahs, this hamam was mistaken for a mortuary bath of the kings for a long time, built in 1520-30s, this is a turkish hamam with a steam room and a massage room, there are also medieval communal toilets and a central tank that feeds the entire hamam, there also small pools and bathtubs made of stone where one could soak in hot water and wash away the dirt from their travels. This shows the central Asian customs the Qutb shahis integrated to their kingdom, like most Islamic kingdoms in India.
