The Jaam -e- Noor in Zafar colony, Gorakhpur is around 17 years old. At that time only 80-100 people could offer namaz together in the mosque. At present 100-200 namazis offer namaz daily in the mosque on the normal days . On juma , Alvida 500-700 namazi's offer namaz together in the mosque. The Jaam-e- Noor Masjid is very beautiful. It is the only mosque in the whole colony. On Eid ul azha 800 to 1000 namazi's offer namaz. The Jaam-e- Noor mosque has two doors. There are two ways to enter the mosque. The area of the mosque is big. The Jaam-e- Noor mosque has two floor mosque where all the young and old people offer namaz in the first floor and the children are offered namaz in second floor. On shabebarat and 12 rabi awal the mosque decorated very well.
