The Kazi Masjid in Ismailpur , Gorakhpur is around 150 years old. The walls inside are made of thick iron from the British era, which indicates that this mosque was built after 18th century. At that time only 30 -40 people could offer namaz together in the mosque. At present 50-60 namazis offer namaz daily in the mosque on the normal days . There are 7 safs in the mosque. In the first two safs more than 12 people can offer namaz. And the next 5 saf where 40 people can offer namaz. On juma , Alvida 150-200 namazi's offer namaz together in the mosque. The Kazi Masjid is very beautiful. It is the only one floor mosque. The kazi mosque has two doors. There are a two way to enter the mosque. The area of the mosque is average .The area of the mosque is around 3000 square feet. The Kazi mosque is one floor mosque where all the young and old people and children offer namaz.
