Khan Jahan Masjid near the Kanja gate and close to the protestant cemetry on the river side at the south west corner today known as Sabarmati Riverfront of the city walls is a cut stone building of trabeate style and apparent antiquity ,but in good preservation but whitewashed inside. It is roofed with small domes and has three mihrabs -from over the central one of which the inscription slab has been removed .The mimhar has seven steps . The roza in front has partly been fallen- only two of the original domes left but the roza of Khan Jahan is still remains and is said earlier half of the fifiteen century . The grounds extend to 1668 square yards.
