Madina Masjid, the pride of Reti Madina Masjid located in Reti is not an ordinary mosque, rather it is about 70 to 75 years old. 40-45 years ago, it used to have three magnificent domes. There were two tall minarets. For 13 years, the secretary of the mosque is Parvez Ahmed Khan. He saw the old building of the mosque and also offered prayers. He told that even at that time it was called Madina Masjid and even today it is famous by the name of Madina Masjid. The entire look of the mosque was like a royal mosque. The magnificent dome and two big minarets added to its beauty. There were strong thick walls. The middle part of the mosque was open. More than 500 people could offer prayers together in the old Madina Masjid. During the farewell etc., the entire roads along with the mosque used to be filled. People used to come from far and wide to offer prayers. He told quoting an 85-year-old woman that there was a man's house made of mud at the place of the mosque. He gave it for the mosque. The people of the locality together built Madina Masjid in the look of Shahi Masjid. When the doors and walls of the mosque became weak about 45 years ago, a new building of the mosque was built. The two-storey building is very magnificent. The green dome, two big and one small minaret are very beautiful. The mosque is decorated with the best tiles and marble from inside. There are four wuzu khanas inside and outside the mosque. There are also some shops adjacent to the mosque. The green tiles on the outer walls of the mosque and the green glass on the windows add to the beauty of the mosque. The gate of the mosque is also decorated with very beautiful tiles. The prayer for entering the mosque is written on the gate. Imam Maulana Abdullah Barkati of Madina Masjid Reti has been serving for about 19 years. Two rooms have also been built for the Imam and the Muezzin. Apart from the five times prayers, Jumma, Alvida, Eidul Fitr and Eidul Azha prayers are also offered in the mosque. There is a lot of crowd during this time. Rows have to be formed on the road outside the mosque also.
