Built during the reign of Mir Osman Ali Khan in 1910s, Pathergatti is one of the most prominent marketplaces in Hyderabad. Built in Osmanian architecture which blended styles of Indian[Bhuddist and Kakatiyan] Islamic[Persian and Anadalusian] and European/colonial styles to form a distinct and beautiful style of design and architecture. Its facade is made of Granite and portions at the back are built using bricks,the market starts from Madina building and leads all the way towards Charminar,it surrounds charkaman and gulzar houz.
