Sakar khan Masjid is located in the disrtict of Kalupur ,near the west historic walled city of Ahmedabad.On stylistic ground, the building might dated to around 1460 or 1470 CE. The building is rectangale, open on the east (long) side.This eastern facade has central opening nine bays wide and two side openings three bays wide each. The interior is a trabeated (pillars) prayered hall.Five domes running down the centre of the hall from large bays. Two aisles seprate these central domed bays from qibla wall and front of the masjid.
