Shah Khub Saiyed Ki Masjid lies in the centre of Ahmedabad ,just south of the market square adjoining the Bhadra. An inscription names the building patron as New Farhat Ul Mulk Ki Masjid made in the year 1538 The masjid is a rectangular building closed on three sides and completely open on its eastern facade to large open court that adjust the prayer hall.The eastern facade is framed by two ornamentely carved minaretes.The minaretes take the form of wide butteress near their bases and taper as they pass the roofline to the slender cylindrical towers.
