Sultan Ahmed Shah's Roza ,which is locally addressed as 'Raja No Hajiro' as well as Badshah No Hajiro is composed of a set of tombs is situated in Ahmedabad ,built during Medival period .He is known to be the founder of Ahmedabad, Gujarat . The exquisite artwork and architectural extravagance makes the tomb standout among the other tourist spots and makes it gold standard Indian architecture.

Sultan Ahmed Shah's Roza is a medival masjid and the groups of the tombs in Ahmedabad, India .Ahmed Shah's Roza is situated close to Jama Masjid and Manek Chowk.The Masjid has the tomb of Ahmed Shah l , the founder of Ahmedabad in centre. It was completed by his son Muhamamd Shah ll (1442-1451)who is buried to his left.His grandson Qutb -ud- din Ahmed Shah ll (1451-1458) is buried to his right.The tomb of Ahmed Shah's brother is outside of the main chamber .On the Ahmed Shah's Roza flowers and chadars are still offered. The Masjid has the main square building with the large central dome. There are four chambers at all four corners with smaller domes. The tombs are in centre. The chamber is lit with delicately carved stone screens (jalis). Naubat is a traditional orchestra which announced arrival and departure of the king, welcome dignitaries ,marked beginning of wars and special occasions like birth ,death or marriage of Royals .Naubat is still played as a remembrance of Ahmed Shah near the tomb They are played at19:30 (sunset) and 23:00 IST everyday. On Thursday and Friday three more naubats are played :9:00,12:00 and15:00 IST.
